Add rustic charm to your porch, deck or garden with this handcrafted cedar hanging planter. Made from solid cedar in our Smoky Mountain workshop, it's designed to hold a 10–12" pot or coco liner and makes a beautiful home for flowers, trailing plants, herbs and seasonal displays.

Made to Order

Each hanging planter is individually handcrafted by Mike in our Smoky Mountain workshop. Because these are made to order rather than mass-produced, your planter will be built especially for you. Natural variations in the cedar grain and color mean no two will be exactly alike.

Please allow 1–7 days for Mike to build and prepare your planter for shipping. The result is a truly handmade piece, built one at a time with the same care and attention to detail we put into everything we make at Out Here Woodcrafts.

The planter hangs from sturdy brown all-purpose cord and includes a heavy-duty S-hook with lock for secure hanging. The open slatted bottom provides airflow and drainage, while the included coco liner allows you to plant directly in the basket. You can also use the planter to hold a standard 10–12" flower pot.

Care & Use

Cedar naturally weathers to a soft silvery-gray color when exposed to the elements. It can be left unfinished to age naturally or treated with an outdoor wood sealer or stain if you prefer to maintain or change its appearance.

Handcrafted one at a time in our Smoky Mountain workshop, each planter brings the natural warmth of cedar and a little mountain character to your outdoor space.
