Handcrafted Cedar Hanging Platform Bird Feeder | 12" × 12"
Bring more birds to your yard with this handcrafted cedar hanging platform feeder, made one at a time by Mike in our Smoky Mountain workshop.
Each feeder is made from solid aromatic cedar, chosen for its natural beauty and durability outdoors. Carefully mitered corners give the feeder a clean, finished appearance, while the galvanized metal screen bottom allows rainwater to drain through instead of collecting beneath the seed.
The open platform design gives birds plenty of room to land and feed and works beautifully with black oil sunflower seeds, mixed seed blends, cracked corn, peanuts and other wild bird favorites.
⚠️ Please Note About the Pulley System
The black pulley system shown in some of our photos is NOT included with the feeder. Those photos demonstrate one way the feeder can be hung and lowered for easier filling.
The feeder comes with the vinyl-coated steel hanging cables shown attached to the feeder. If you would like to add a pulley system, similar outdoor bird feeder pulley systems are readily available separately from Amazon and other retailers.

Each feeder is individually handmade from solid cedar with carefully mitered corners. Because we use real wood, every feeder will have its own natural grain, knots and color variations.
🐦 Open Platform Design
The 12" × 12" platform provides plenty of room for birds to perch comfortably along the edges or hop directly onto the feeding area.
The galvanized metal mesh bottom provides airflow and drainage, helping rain pass through rather than pooling in the feeder.
